Valentine 2014 Hot glue Gift

Western Valentine is Double Hearts, Chinese Valentine is Red Chinese String with heart shape knot, these rose, cat family and lollipop double hearts are those which learn in first lesson in CC.

Made by 2 nine years old students, they said made in Singapore.  LOL

Small bear & bird home-made moulds + flower factory-made moulds needed for this design, can add in a sensor to make it chirp when people walk pass, that drink can be decorated by chained up with lettering beads to make name tag key chain.

For those who bought the ladybug mould from me, try this, use any toy tree or flower vase.

For decorate paper clip, hand phone pouch, scrapbook & clothes clip. 

These need hot glue mould to make the butterfly first, then use transparent hot glue to paste it on clip.

LOL

That P2 student made a lot of these photo frames for her friends as birthday presents. I asked her what does she want on her birthday, I'll make 1 for her, her answer was "NO", but she wants a glue gun for her personal use.

BTW, 2 people sent me about their glue gun pictures which they bought from hardware shop, saying that messing up the crafting work, see the nozzle head and temperature before you buy.

A Singapore Mum's Hobby: Hot Glue Crafts

Tutorial 1: Hot Glue Word-forming Game

 Materials Need :
1) Hot Glue Gun
2) Any kind of Hot Glue Stick
3) waxed paper or the mat from KFC meal free gift last year as shown in picture, yellow and blue non-stick mats
4) Alphabet Letter stuff (from Popular Book Shop)

Method :
1) Place the wax paper on the table.
2) Turn on your hot glue gun and insert the glue stick when it is hot (pre-heat for 10 mins).
3) Put some glue on the wax paper.
4) Then put a alphabet letter on the glue.
5) Wait 2 mins until it cool down and set.
(if you are using the non-stick mats, place the mat on waxed paper, use the hole for hanging as mold,
all your tiles will be the same size)
6) Draw 16mm x 16mm sqaure map for this word-forming game.(size of square depend on how big the tiles you made)

Note :
* you can set your own rules for this game, examples more than 4 players, 10 tiles to start per player,
put in more jokers or blanks tiles if the players are too young, more vowel tiles etc.
